They got out to a good-sized lead (5 runs in the second inning), finally giving the team’s most steady pitcher the run-support he really deserves. And Guthrie is pitching great! …until the 6th inning, 2 outs: double, home run, single, single, double. Six runs score, game over, Orioles don’t score another run. [Amazingly, neither did Detroit, so the bullpen did a good job giving the offense a chance, at least.]
